BARTSHARP Airbrush® 116B
The BARTSHARP Airbrush® 116B is a pistol style, single variable action, gravity top feed airbrush.
A pistol grip design is ideal for those new to airbrushing as it provides the most comfortable holding position.
Single variable action, pull back on the trigger for air and pull further back, on the trigger, to release paint.
The BARTSHARP Airbrush® 116B incorporates a brand new nozzle and nozzle cap design.
The nozzles are of a larger physical size whilst retaining the same inner dimensions (0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm and 0.8mm)
These new nozzles are a complete change from the standard design making nozzle change and airbrush cleaning a breeze as they simply push into the airbrush body cap and are held in place by screwing the nozzle cap down.
The new design nozzles also have a Teflon bush which prevents paint from escaping from behind the nozzle and is also impervious to highly aggressive paints.
No more fiddling with a super small nozzle and nozzle spanner.
Our customers have provided exceptionally good feedback on this new design as it has improved paint flow and greatly reduced paint blockages.
The BARTSHARP Airbrush® 116B is fitted with a quality 0.5mm needle, nozzle and nozzle cap.
This set up is for general purpose spraying and will allow you to create a line spray width up from 0.5mm to approximately 28mm.
It can also be fitted with a 0.2mm or 0.3mm needle/nozzle set for creation of finer lines and greater detail.
Alternatively it can also be fitted with a 0.8mm needle/nozzle set which is ideally suited to those wishing to spray slightly thicker mediums, such as with cake decoration or specialist paints or lacquers.
This larger size set up optimises a smoother paint flow and will help to prevent clogging and splatter associated with the use of smaller needles and nozzles.
The BARTSHARP Airbrush® 116B comes with three fully interchangeable cups:
2cc, 5cc (with push fit lid) and 13cc (with push fit lid)
The air inlet is 1/8BSP which is the most regularly used size for airbrushes and air hoses alike.
(BSP stands for British Standard Pipe and describes the thread pitch, whilst 1/8 is equal to 9.35mm (approx)
The 116 Airbrush is also fitted with a:
MAC Valve for fingertip air control of air flow which enables you to create special paint effects.
Needle adjust screw. This is situated on the rear handle and can adjusted to preset how far the needle can be pulled back. This means that lines, of the same thickness, can be created many times.
