BARTSHARP Airbrush® 186
The BARTSHARP Airbrush 186 is a pen style dual action, gravity top feed airbrush.
Dual action: push down, on the trigger for air, and pull back, on the trigger, for paint.
The BARTSHARP Airbrush 186 is fitted with a quality 0.3mm needle, nozzle and nozzle cap.
This set up is for general purpose spraying and will allow you to create a line spray width up from 0.3mm to approximately 28mm.
The kit also comes with a 0.2m needle/nozzle set for finer grain detail and a 0.5mm needle/nozzle set when less detail may be required.
The BARTSHARP Airbrush 186 comes with three fully interchangeable cups:
2cc, 5cc (with push fit lid) and 13cc (with push fit lid)
The air inlet is 1/8BSP which is the most regularly used size for airbrushes and air hoses alike.
(BSP stands for British Standard Pipe and describes the thread pitch, whilst 1/8 is equal to 9.35mm (approx)
The 186 Airbrush is also fitted with a:
MAC Valve for fingertip air control of air flow which enables you to create special paint effects.
Needle adjust screw. This is situated on the rear handle and can adjusted to pre-set how far the needle can be pulled back. This means that lines, of the same thickness, can be created many times.

- 1.8m Air Hose (1/8BSP female - 1/8BSP female)
- Airbrush Quick Release Coupler
- Mini In Line Airbrush Air Filter
- Air Hose Adaptor (1/4BSP female to 1/8BSP male)

This is my first ever airbrush, I watched many videos Scale Hangar 182 and it seems good.
It’s similar to H&S Ultra 2in1, so very good for beginners like, I did not use it yet but I hope to do it soon.

Greetings from the Colonies (LOL). This was my second Bartsharp AB and I’ve been using it for about 5 months now and I will say that it does not disappoint. The 186 is beautifully constructed and no matter the needle size I use, it never fails to lay down the paint nice and smooth. I run this one with the .02 exclusively for my fine detailed painting. Once you get it dialed in, she runs flawlessly. Shipping to the US was quite fast, even when you guys had an issue with the Royal Mail, Alison contacted me and offered a solution. I will be buying again and I recommend Bartsharp to all.
