The Iwata Kustom Micron CM Airbrush is the MAC Daddy of all airbrushes and is a development of the famous Iwata Custom Micron.
The Kustom Micron CM provides ultra fine line spraying with extreme control, smooth as silk atomisation and exacting control over paint flow.
The Iwata Kustom Micron CM Airbrush provides you with fine detail spraying and absolute precision and control.
Your Iwata CM air brush, and parts, has been produced using the world’s finest lathes and machining processes.
The Kustom Micron CM is then hand assembled, hand tuned and hand adjusted by expert airbrush technicians prior to factory dispatch.
The “Matched Head System” ensures that no Kustom Micron CM airbrush leaves the factory until it has, as near as possible, perfect spray characteristics providing you with atomisation which is simply superb and paint flow with precision and control.
The Iwata Kustom Micron CM Airbrush is the ultimate tool for the ultimate control in airbrushing.
By removing the nozzle cap and crown cap you can also create a huge selection of textures and stippling effect ranging from the very fine to course.
The fitted 0.23mm matched system head provides a spray pattern of 0.23mm to 25m and is designed for use with light to medium paints and the artist who requires detail to mid range spraying. The needle is made from hardened stainless steel which has been highly polished and provides silky smooth transition from fine grain detail to mid range spraying.
MAC (Micro Air Control) Valve
Your Iwata Kustom Micron CM Airbrush is fitted with a MAC (Micro Air Control) Valve giving finger tip control of the air volume passing through the airbrush head. This allows you to have infinite control over stippling effects, fine grain detail a finely atomised background spraying.
Ultimate control of fine grain detail and fine line work is achieved by setting the optimal airflow with the MAC Valve.
Using the MAC Valve in the fully open position makes colour changes and airbrush cleaning quicker and easier. All of this is achieved with a quick turn of the control dial.
The Iwata Kustom CM Airbrush is also fitted with a PTFE needle packing bush which means that automotive, or other solvent based paints, can be used.
The rear handle, of the Kustom CM, has a cutaway section which exposes the needle and needle chucking nut.
This provides easy access, without the need to remove the rear handle, to loosen and draw the needle back from the nozzle, and front paint channel, for thorough and effective flushing and final clean up of your airbrush.
The Kustom CM Airbrush has a 1/8thBSP male air inlet. This is sometimes referred to as a 1/8” fitting although it is actually about 9.35mm!
We have Air Hoses which are a direct fit for this airbrush.
Need an air supply?
We would recommend the TC90T airbrush compressor as it is able to supply high air pressures as demanded by the Kustom CM Airbrush whilst using specialist candy and pearlescent paints.
