Description
Large Airbrush Spray Booth LED Lights
If you haven't got a large airbrush spray booth with exhaust kit and LED lights then you are probably:
Airbrushing in a room filled with fumes?
Got airborne overspray settling on, and damaging, other items in your room?
Struggling to see the detail on your project?
Have you tried to solve this problem by creating a cardboard spray box which just isn’t cutting it?
Airbrush Spray Booth LED Lights
Our airbrush spray booth with exhaust kit and LED lights provides an excellent spraying environment and will prevent airborne over spray damaging other projects and personal items and will also help you to minimise health risks associated with many airbrush paints and other mediums.
(We strongly recommend using a quality face mask)
If you do not need to remove contaminated air but wish to effectively capture damaging overspray then please view the below model:
How Does An Airbrush Spray Booth Work?
The spray booth has easy to collapse and erect base, sides and canopy which creates a dedicated spraying area.
The unit is powered by a small but powerful electric motor which drives a fan, located at the back of the airbrush spray booth and which, in turn, creates an airflow.
Contaminated air and overspray is drawn, by the airflow, to the back of the spray booth and through the large filter pad.
Overspray is caught on the front surface of the filter pad whilst contaminated air passes through the filter material and is then expelled out of the rear of the unit.
Are all airbrush spray booths the same?
No.
Many of the models available do not have a motor which is powerful enough to pull a sufficient volume of air from the spraying area and through the filter material.
The result of this is that overspray is not removed from your immediate working area, possibly damaging the detail on your project and then passing out into your room to settle on and damage other items.
This will also mean that air, contaminated with airborne particles, is not being drawn away from you or your project.
This can be hazardous to your health as even water based paints have a small amount of VOC (volatile organic compounds) which can affect your major organs and general health.
Density and size of filter material is just as important as volume of airflow through the unit as both will affect the performance of the spray booth.
Filter material, which is not deep enough, will have a greatly reduced total surface area which will enable the air to pass through the filter without optimised capture of contaminated air and overspray.
Units without an exhaust kit will simply push contaminated air out of the back of the booth and into the general working environment.
The chances are that any exposed surface may then receive a very fine layer of paint. Your health may also be at risk from re-circulated VOC.
Conversely; filter material which is too dense will have a greatly reduced airflow which makes having a spray booth pretty pointless.
BARTSHARP Airbrush SB04 Large Airbrush Spray Booth
The BARTSHARP Airbrush SB04 Large Airbrush Spray Booth is the latest addition to our range of airbrush spray booths and is our top performing model.
Our other airbrush spray booth models extract a massive 4m³ per minute, however, the SB04 Large Airbrush Spray Booth pulls an incredible 9m³ of air through the filter unit every minute! This is more than twice the performance.
The portable airbrush spray booth has two inbuilt extractor fan units which displace contaminated air into one air outlet and exhaust air hose.
The power of the extractor can be fully adjusted by turning up, or down, the control dial.
The small but powerful motors creates less than 53db which means you won’t be disturbing other family members.
The unit has a power converter (DC12V 5A) with fitted 3 pin UK plug. The cable, from plug to power converter, is 140cm / 55" long, whilst the cable, from the power converter to spray booth inlet jack, is 91cm / 36" long.
Your spray booth has a pre installed filter which is made up of two layers giving an optimum total thickness (approximately 30mm) and density.
Other suppliers provide filters with a thickness of 20mm. Our filters are approximately 30% thicker and provide a massive surface area, fantastic air flow and ultimate performance.
Our filters can also be rinsed through to remove overspray which will, in turn, increase the life of the filter before it needs replacing.
We also have a huge stock of Replacement Filters manufactured to the same exacting standards.
Portable Airbrush Spray Booth With Lights
The SB04 Airbrush Spray Booth With Lights has three strips of super powerful LED lights.
These lights simply push fit into each other and the spray booth frame and produce an incredible 2340LM of crystal clear light.
Our other spray booth models provide 1200LM of light so the increase in illumination power is easy to see.
The LED lights can be fully adjusted by turning up, or down, the control dial (see image above).
The SB04 Portable Airbrush Spray Booth folds away to 55cm x 27cm x 32cm and becomes its own carry case with handle.
When extended and fully set up it provides a workable spraying area of 55cm wide x 35.8cm deep x 34.5cm tall (max).
Total footprint (when set up) is 55cm wide x 48cm deep x 34.5cm tall (max).
The unit can be pushed fully back against a wall as the exhaust air hose exits out of the top of the spray booth.
The Airbrush Spray Booth has been manufactured for us in stylish and durable black plastic.
The Airbrush Spray Booth Exhaust Kit is included and supplied with all necessary fittings.
The hose is highly flexible and can be compressed, for more compact spaces, or extended to approximately 5 1/2 foot.
The kit includes as specifically designed slim end fitting so that the exhaust hose can be vented out of a window with minimum opening.
All of our air brush spray booths are supplied with a fully rotating turn table which has a diameter of 19cm.
Ideal for the airbrushing of models, miniatures, war gaming figures and cake decoration.

This is just what I have been looking for, excellent air extraction with the two fans. Plenty of room for spraying and hand painting and extremely bright with the Led set up Love it. Thanks
Norman Otty –
Excellent service just got this delivered, cannot wait to get it assembled. Nice size, plenty of room for spraying. Double extraction fan. Excellent buy.

Fantastic bit of kit the duel fan is a beast it sucked air from 2 foot from the front of it. You can also turn the power of the fans down. The lights are great as you can dim them and they light up the area great. One of the best bits is the air outlet come out of the top and not the back which saves you space. It fits together easy as it interlocks and the sids are rock solid as all held together with the way the lights go on. It’s higher than the other one but you have more spraying room. And you get plenty of lead to plus it in. It can be a bit noisy at full tilt but you can still speak to someone but I don’t think you would ever need to go that high as it’s a lot of air being sucked through. That’s about it other than I don’t think you can go wrong with one.

Large airbrush spray booth. What an excellent well constructed booth. With well thought out LED lights which give excellent light coverage.
The double extraction fan is really great. One of the best ideas is the double switch, one for the double fan and a separate one for the LED lights.
Really pleased with this purchase, well worth the price.

This is a dream, excellent has everything you could want. LEDs, fan extraction. Simply well thought out, one of the best on the market.

Fantastic bit of kit well worth the money. The double fan shifts a lot of air and nothing comes back at you. The led dimmable lights light up the whole are your spraying plus added bonus is you could stick a bit of cloth or card white black whatever colour you want and take photos in it as it al ready has lights. Not tried it yet but will do. Best bit of kit I’ve brought. If you’re on a budget and 5his is in your range I can’t see you going wrong getting one.

I have only had this spray booth a few days and I must say it is fantastic, the quality of build, the twin fans gives excellent fume extraction with power control and also with the adjustable output LED lighting this spray booth produced by Bartsharp with the value for money is outstanding.
I must say also the customer service and advice from Bartsharp is excellent.

I’ve been using this for a few months now and the twin fans give much better extraction that my previous single fan unit, even with lacquer based model paints. The motors also seem more powerful but be aware they are a bit noisy for extended use. The built in LEDs are fantastic, really bright and well positioned and both they and the motors are adjustable on separate rotary controls. Well built and sturdy this is a bargain for the price.

Good afternoon Alison,
I would like to say how impressed I am with the service which you have provided. Communication is outstanding and prompt delivery of my spray booth.
I can not believe how powerful this is and how well built it is on first glance.
Just like to say a huge big thank you.
Kind regards
DT

Hi Alison, Nigel here from “Nigels Modelling Bench” on You Tube. VERY impressed with the SB04, soooo much better than my old booth. I love the fact it has adjustable fan speed and lighting, so, one can have the fan on full speed whilst painting and then turn it down to 50% or so while the paint dries.
The extra width makes life a lot easier too, as one is able to get deeper into the booth and still be able to manoeuvre the airbrush. Wish I had this booth when I built my 1/72 scale Vulcan.

Ordered on Sunday arrived today(Tuesday) brilliant service, got it up running in no time not had had one with led’s before it’s going to make spraying a lot better light wise and size.

Cannot add much to the above comments other than I agree wholeheartedly with their observations. As a novice I was not sure what I might need and looking on the net this cabinet seemed the best all round value.
Some suggestions that might help some viewing this post;
The ducting supplied is useful, but a little ridged. A trip down to Screwfix ( other suppliers are available) purchase a 100 mm diameter 90 degree ducting bend and a length of light flexible fan ducting to suit your needs, makes the extractor much easier to place the discharge of air. The bend just drops into the rubber connector as if made for the job. A bit of duct tape to hold the ducting . Job done.
I was really surprised at the amount of spray picked up by the filter. I had some spare garden frost protective blanket which is very light, air passes through easily, and cheap. I cut a rectangle off and just pushed in front of the filter, seems to be working well as it is now covered in paint , not the filter.
Finally, one thing that made me think it was a good purchase was seeing the amount of spray shown up by the LEDs lights when in use. A passing thought that this spray would in time settle on the LEDs and dull the output. Some cling film held with masking tape solved that problem with no loss of lighting.

I bought this spray booth a few months ago and have just used it today for the first time. It’s quite noisy with the fan running but, after I had finished spraying it was clear from the amount of paint on the filter combined with the absence of any paint fumes that the spray booth was extremely effective. It’s possible that over time the very effective LED lighting in the booth will get covered with paint overspray so, I will cover the LED diffusers with either clear sellotape or clingfilm that can be easily replaced as and when the LED’s get too much paint overspray. I did initially think that the included plastic flexi duct might be a little bit on the short side but when pulled apart it was easily long enough at around two metres in length. I used the spray booth in my attic room and the included vent that fits onto the flexi duct was easily wedged into the opening of my velux window. This spray booth is an expensive purchase but, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do, it’s compact enough to be easily stored when not in use and if treated with respect I would expect it to give years of service.

Only used this once so far,I have never had a spray booth before but always wanted one,it was one of those “one days”and after having to replace my compressor this year and loving my dual fan compressor from Bartsharp there really was no where else to go and I’m so glad that I did. Thank you guys for sorting me out, now there’s no where else I’d look for my airbrushing needs.

Fantastic service and a pleasure to deal with.
